Type locality: "one mile south of the Hacienda, Chichen Itza, Yucatan," Mexico.  
Reproductionoviparous. Exhibits temperature‐dependent sex determination (TSD) fide Cornejo-Páramo et al. 2020 (and references therein).

EtymologyNamed after Edwin Phillip Creaser (1907-1981) at the University of Michigan.
