Diagnosis 
CommentDistribution: see maps in Bobrov 2015, Trivalarat et al. 2020: 17 (Fig. 5). 
EtymologyNamed after Greek lepis, genitive lepidos = a scale; gaster = belly. The name doesn’t make too much sense though, given that all lizards have scales on their belly and their seems to be nothing special about the ventral scales in this species.
