TypesHolotype: lost, formerly FPM (Museum of Fort Pitt, Chatham). Lost, according to A. Grandison, cited in Roux-Estève (1974:79). 
Diagnosis 
CommentSome of SCHMIDT’s (1923) Typhlops congestus might have been T. punctatus punctatus (fide BROADLEY in SCHMIDT 1923, SSAR reprint).
