TypesHolotype: Museum of Fort Pitt, Chatham. Very likely lost, according to A. Grandison (in lett.) as cited in Roux-Estève (1974:79). 
CommentSome of SCHMIDT’s (1923) Typhlops congestus might have been T. punctatus punctatus (fide BROADLEY in SCHMIDT 1923, SSAR reprint).
