Distribution	Australia (New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia) Type locality: Hermannsburg, Northern Territory.

Types	Holotype: SAMA R88, presented F. Scarfe, 22.i.1912
Diagnosis	Diagnosis: A dark, medium-sized, moderately slender blind-snake with snout angular in profile, 22 midbody scale rows and nasal cleft proceeding from preocular. Most like R. hamatus but with wider rostral and more numerous ventrals (more than 400 v. fewer than 400) (from Storr 1981).
Comment
Etymology	Presumably named after the Greek endo (within) plus Latin terra (earth), alluding to the burrowing habits of this family. (G. Shea, pers. comm., 9 Feb 2024)
