Type locality: summit of Cerro Yaví, 2150 m elevation, Amazonas, Venezuela.

Diagnosis 
CommentSpecies groups: Dactyloa heteroderma species group (fide NICHOLSON et al. 2012).

Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after the unusual orange color of the everted hemipenes (lat bellus = pretty, lat. peniculus = little penis).
