|Comment||Apostolepis striata was described based on a single specimen from Rondônia state, Brazil, region of forested Cerrado, with Amazonian influence. It presents five dark longitudinal stripes, without nucha-cervical collars and snout little projected beyond jaws. It is similar to A. phillipsi from which it differs by the presence of elongated head, projecting snout, and nucha-cervical collars in the last species.|
