Type locality: Parrot Isle, 5 km N of Carrarang, in 26° 20’ S, 113° 30’ E, W. A.

TypesHolotype: WAM R54766 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: A narrow-headed, long-snouted member of the Aprasia repens super- species, distinguishable from A. repens by 14 (rather than 12) midbody scale rows, and from both A. repens and A. rostrata by 4 (rather than 5) upper labials. A. haroldi is the only Aprasia in which the prefrontal is in contact with the subocular labial (Storr 1978: 307). 
CommentLimb morphology: Limbless. 
EtymologyNamed after Gregory Harold, a biologist who worked with Storr.
