|Comment||Similar species: A. rostrata is the closest relative of A. wicherina. The geographically nearest congeners are A. clairae and A. repens.|
|Etymology||The species name refers to the area of Wicherina, where all the type material is known from, and a local indigenous word meaning water hole (S. Heriot, pers. comm.). The epithet is to be used as a noun in apposition.|
