| Comment | Synonymy: Has been previously considered as a synonym of Arrhyton taeniatum Gunther 1858. HEDGES & GARRIDO (1992) provide evidence that the original holotype is actually not A. redimitum. BOULENGER’s (1894) description was not based on the type but rather on BOCOURT’s description.
