CommentAmaral 1929 [06317] (cited in PETERS & OREJAS-MIRANDA 1970) indicated that this was a synonym of A. modestus from Ecuador. See also PASSOS et al. (2007). 
Etymologynamed after C. Bock, the collector of the type.
