Reproductionoviparous. 
TypesHolotype: unlocated (fide SANG et al. 2009). 
CommentSMITH 1943 gave “1929” for MELL’s paper. Not listed by GRANDISON 1977.

Distribution: May have been erroneously reported from Borneo, but not listed for Borneo by MALKMUS et al. (2002). There are two records from Sulawesi which are from before 1900 and are thus questionable (DE LANG & VOGEL 2005). Possibly in Bhutan (Lenz 2012).

Behavior: nocturnal.
