Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: Most authors appear to consider Bunopus blanfordii as a synonym of B. tuberculatus (e.g. ARNOLD 1980, LEVITON et al. 1992, DISI & BÖHME 1996) although Bauer et al. 2013 “tentatively” recognize it as valid species. The uncertain status has not changed as of October 2022 (A. Bauer, pers. comm., 10 Nov 2021, Lukas Pola and Salvator Carranza, pers. comm., 14 Oct 2022).
