DiagnosisDiagnosis: Inger & Marx 1965: 111 
CommentSynonymy after INGER & MARX 1965. The type locality of C. gervaisii is “Java” which is erroneous according to MARX 1955. He thinks that it came from Luzon.

Distribution: not on Borneo fide Stuebing et al. 2014. 
EtymologyNamed after François Louis Paul Gervais (1816-1879), French zoologist, paleontologist, and anatomist. He succeeded Blainville as Professor of Comparative Anatomy at the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris (1868).
