Type locality: Tunisia, SW Remada, east of Djebel National Park, close to the road midway between Beni Kadeche (Bani Kheddache) and Ksar el Hallouf. Map legend:

EtymologyNamed “in deep respect, after our ‘scientific father’ Prof. Dr Wolfgang Böhme, deputy director and head of the Herpetology section at the Zoologisches Forschungsmuseum Alexander Koenig in Bonn, for his contributions to African herpetology”.
