CommentRelative abundance in Honduras: infrequent

Distribution: this species has been reported from Peru, but without specific locality (T. Doan, pers. comm. 30 Apr 2012). Map in DIXON et al. 1993: 129.

Synonymy: mostly after DIXON et al. 1993: 127.

Diagnosis: This is the only Chironius species wilh 10 scale rows at midbody and a divided ana! plate.
