CommentSynonymy: listed as synonym of Coniophanes fissidens by WALLACH et al. 2014: 174.

Distribution: Isla San Andres previously belonged to Nicaragua, hence older records may mention this country. Now San Andres belongs to Colombia. 
EtymologyNamed after the type locality.
