Type locality: "10 miles northwest of Gomez Farias on the trail to La loya de Salas, Tamaulipas, Mexico, at an altitude of about 5300 ft., in a forested flat."

CommentVenomous!

Distribution: see map in Campbell & Lamar 2004: 527 (Map 90) but not in Nuevo Léon fide Lemos-Espinal (pers. comm. 6 June 2016). Not in Coahuila fide Lazcano et al. 2019.
