Type locality: from the coast of Pulau Seribuat (2°41.5’ N, 103°55.0’ E), Pahang, West Malaysia.

TypesHolotype: ZRC 2.6147, adult male, collected by Timothy M. Youmans on 25 March 2003. 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: Maximum SVL 75 mm; body tuberculated, gracile, and elongate; tubercles begin posterior to eye and extend onto the tail; 27–35 rows of dorsal tubercles; dorsal tubercles surrounded by smaller granular scales; 28–39 ventral scale rows between body folds; limbs tuberculated; 19–22 expanded subdigital lamellae on fourth toe from base of toe to claw; pre-cloacal groove absent; enlarged femoral and preanal scales with pores; preanal pores and femoral pores continuous, 40–44 in total [from YOUMANS & GRISMER 2006].
