DiagnosisDiagnosis: “Differs from all other Dibamus in the following combination of characters: medial rostral suture absent; nasal sutures not complete; labial sutures present; interparietal large; one postocular; two supralaibals; 23 midbody scale rows.” (Darevsky 1992) 
CommentDoes not occur in Vietnam fide BOBROV 2004 (pers. comm.) 
EtymologyNamed after Father Anthony Bogadek, a Salesian priest in Hong Kong, who studied philosophy, theology (1954-1958) later biochemistry and biology at University College Dublin (1964-1968). He returned to Hong Kong to teach biology, with herpetology as his speciality, at St. Louis School.
