Reproduction	ovovivparous
Types	Lectotype: BMNH 1946.1.17.42, the only syntype (out of 7) located; designated by Coventry & Rawlinson (1980).
Diagnosis
Comment	Coventry & Rawlinson (1980) removed Pseudelaps minutus Fry 1915 from synonymy with Drysdalia mastersii. Distribution: All NSW populations formerly ascribed to mastersii are now rhodogaster. Mastersii is restricted to NW Victoria, southern SA and SE WA (G. Shea, pers. comm., 5 March 2021). Venomous!
Etymology	Named after George Masters (1837-1912), an English entomologist who emigrated to Australia.
