Type locality: 6 km SW of Karaisali, Adana prov., S Turkey.

DiagnosisDiagnosis: Unterscheidet sich von dem nächstverwandten E. barani durch die Pileus- und Halszeich- nung (Parietalband auf die Parietalia beschränkt; temporale Spitzen des Halsbands meist vorhanden; gulare Enden schwach ausgeprägt), durch die niemals dunkel zentrierten Dorsalia, die zumindest an den vorderen Flanken helle Mittelstriche aufweisen; sowie die einander fast nie berührenden hinteren Inframaxillaria.
