Diagnosis 
CommentLygosoma cyanogaster tongana WERNER 1899 has been synonymized with this species by BROWN and GIBBONS (1986) and others. See Emoia tongana.
This species is highly heterogenous genetically (see AUSTIN & ZUG 1999).
