Type locality: Kordo, Mysore Island, Dutch New Guinea.

Diagnosis 
CommentE. kordoana was placed in the synonymy of E. cyanura by Boulenger (1887: 290). The name was later revived by Sternfeld (1918: 411) but was assigned to the species later recognized as E. callistica Peters and Doria.
