Types	Lectotype: NMBA (= NHMB) 7126, Netché, Maré, Loyalty Islands, collected Roux & Sarasin, designated by Kramer (1979).
Diagnosis
Comment	Not on the mainland of New Caledonia. Common, but restricted to a few localities. Arboreal. Abundance: Rare. This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024.
Etymology	Named after the type locality.
