Types	Holotype: FMNH 74038, a 630 mm male (J.A. Steyermark and J. Wurdack, 12 Feb. 1955).
Diagnosis
Comment	Liophis (cobella) trebbaui, previously in the synonymy of L. ingeri, has been revalidated to full species status by DONNELLY & MYERS 1991.
Etymology	Named after Robert F. Inger (1920-2019), American herpetologist. For an obituary see Voris & Resetar 2020.
