Diagnosis 
CommentIn: Latreille, Hist. Nat. Rept., Vol. 4 fide DUMÉRIL, BIBRON & DUMÉRIL 1854.

Conservation: Farancia erytrogramma seminola NEILL 1964 is most likely extinct now. The subspecies is only known from 3 specimens that have been caught between 1949 and 1952.
