Reproductionoviparous. 
TypesSyntypes: ANSP 3319-21, USNM 12425A (Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia and National Museum of Natural History), collected by Van Patten. Downs (1967: 160) designated ANSP 3320, an adult female, the lectotype.
