Type locality: Central Borneo, probably Kapoeas area.  
Reproductionovoviviparous 
Typesholotype: SMNS 4596, adult female.
holotype: adult male, FMNH 131540; adult female, paratype, FMNH 138196 [thescelorhinos] 
Diagnosis 
CommentMANTHEY & SCHUSTER 1999 note that there are no external differences to Harpesaurus but they still list this species as Hylagama. 
EtymologyNamed after its distribution on Borneo (Indonesia).
