CommentStatus unclear (synonymized with Hemiergis peronii by COGGER 1983 but listed as valid species by COGGER 2000.)

Characteristics: limbs reduced to two toes.

Relationships: the two-toed H. quadrilineatum as being closely related to the three- and four-toed populations of H. peroni.
