Type locality: Between Arakapàs and kalokhorio, limassol, cyprus.  
Reproductionoviparous 
TypesHolotype: MHNG 2206.30, an 869 mm female (14 April 1983). 
Diagnosis 
CommentMentioned in 1994 IUCN Red List of Threatened Animals. Not listed by ENGELMANN et al. (1993).

The inclusion of gyarosensis in Dolichophis is “probable” according to NAGY et al. (2004).
