Type locality: restricted to Anda Goya, near the joint of Rio Condoto and Rio San Juan, S Colombia.

Type: lost or destroyed, formerly ZIUW (fide Avila-Pires 2001) [Gonatodes oxycephalus] 
Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: The status of Gonatodes oxycephalus is unclear. Has not been verified from Ecuador since its description and considered as species inquirendae by Ayala and Castro (1983) and subsequent authors. Not in Ecuador fide Torres-Carvajal, pers. comm., 8 Sep 2016.
