Type locality: Marais Roeke, près de Mabali, lac Tumba, District de l’Equateur, Zaïre.

TypesHolotype: RMCA (= MRAC) 81 65-R-1, collected 1955 by R.F. Laurent. 
Diagnosis 
CommentNot listed by BROADLEY & POYNTON 1998 for the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Zaire).

Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024.
