Diagnosis 
CommentPincheira Donoso et al. (2007) studied body size evolution among members of the boulengeri clade.

Distribution: not in Chile (fide D. Pincheira-Donoso, pers. comm., 23 May 2017).

Groups: The Liolaemus boulengeri group contains 74 currently valid nominal species and is made up of four main clades: the L. anomalus, L. wiegmannii, L. darwinii and L. melanops clades (fide Abdala et al. 2023). 
EtymologyNamed after George Albert Boulenger (1858-1937), herpetologist at the British Museum of Natural History, London.
