Reproductionviviparous. 
TypesHolotype: AMS (AM) R26623, not specified in original description but designated by the author when presenting the type series to the Australian Museum).
Holotype: QM J464, from Chinchilla, Qld. [whitei modesta] 
CommentAccording to COGGER 1983 the anonymous description is equivocal and requires resolution by the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature. Until that decision STORR 1968 will be tentatively considered as describer.

Habitat: Rock-dwelling.
