Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy after BROWN & ALCALA 1980.

Abundance: Rare. This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. 
EtymologyNamed after Dr. Carl Gottfried Semper (1832-1893), an anatomist, ethnologist, and zoologist.
