DistributionWest Malaysia (Perlis, Selangor, Pulau Tioman), Thailand

Type locality: “Sungai Buloh River” and “Kuala Lumpur”, Selangor, Peninsular Malaysia.  
Reproduction 
TypesSyntype: BMNH 1946.8.16.52 (formerly 99.9.27.3), Sungei Buloh River, Selangor, collected A.L. Butler, x.1898. Whereabouts of second syntype, from Kuala Lumpur, collected A.L. Butler, xiii.1899, unknown (possibly in Selangor Museum). 
Diagnosis 
CommentStatus unclear fide MANTHEY & GROSSMANN (1997).

supralabial IV and V contact orbit of eye; preanals subequal to ventral scales; and dorsum uniform brown (from DAS & AUSTIN 2007).
