Type locality: Shipwreck Creek, approx. 20 km SW of Mallacoota, in 37° 37’ S, 149° 39’ E, Vic.

EtymologyNamed after Albert John Coventry (b. 1936) who worked for 47 years at Museum Victoria as a herpetologist and is now Emeritus Curator of Herpetology.
