Type locality: “Gyobyu, Taikkyi Township, Pegu district.”  
Reproductionoviparous 
TypesHolotype: BMNH 1946.1.13.68, a 225 mm specimen (Kundu). 
Diagnosis 
CommentAbundance: Only known from the type specimen, collected before 1943. This is one of the species called “lost” and “rediscovered” by Lindken et al. 2024. 
Etymologynamed after “Dr. Kundu of the Harcourt Butler Institute, Rangoon” who provided the type specimen.
