DistributionCE Madagascar (forests along the road between the Hotel "Feonnyala" and the train station of Andasibe)

Type locality: near Andasibe (= Perinet), 18°56.169'S, 48°24.734'E, 939 m elevation, central eastern Madagascar.  
TypesHolotype: ZSM 54/2005 (field number ZCMV = zoological collection Miguel Vences 2255), an adult female, collected on 23-26 February 2005, in pitfall lines installed by the NGO "Mitsinjo" and its president Rainer Dolch. 
EtymologyThe specific epithet refers to the type locality.
