Diagnosis 
CommentHabitat: aquatic, inhabiting flowing streams.

Diet: fishes, frogs, tadpoles, freshwater shrimp and earthworms.

Behavior: nocturnal 
EtymologyNamed after Dr. Arnold F. V. Jacob (1870-1948), German entomologist and Professor at Technische Hochschule and Director, Staatliches Museum für Tierkunde Dresden (1906-1937).
