TypesHolotype: IB (= IBSP) 26188, a 775 mm male (J.M. Guerra, 25 May 1966). 
Diagnosis 
CommentP. lativittatus is characterized by a wide lateral dark stripe, containing three or more longitudinal dorsal scale rows, unmarked ventral surface, and evident clear and dark coloration of the nape.
