CommentMember of the Phelsuma laticauda (phenetic) group (GLAW, VENCES & ZIEGLER 1999).

Etymology: named after its broad tail (Latin “latus” = broad or wide, Latin “cauda” = tail).

Max. length: 120 mm (angularis) - 140 mm (laticauda).
