Type locality: between Nushki and Heland River (border between Afghanistan and Baluchistan).

vindumi: Iran, Afghanistan (eastern part of Kavir-i-Namak Desert in E Iran, along NE slopes of Kelat (Qalat) Range and Kayen Mountains to Iranian-Afghanistan border); Terra typica: “Iran, Khorasan Prov., 35 km. N of Gonabad on road to Torbat-E. Heydariyeh (ca. 34º49' N, 58º47' E), 850 m. elevation”.
