Type locality: Philippines.  
Reproductionoviparous (phylogenetic imputation, fide Zimin et al. 2022) 
TypesHolotype: STUM (University of Santo Tomas Museum, Manila), possibly lost (M. Diesmos, in Siler et al., 2011, was unable to locate herpetological collections among the residue of that museum in 2009).

EtymologyNamed after Father Florencio Llanos, director of the University of Santo Tomas, who has generously permitted Taylor to study the collection in the museum of the university.
