kunmingensis: China (Yunnan); Type locality: Western Hill of Kunming City (25° 0’ N, 102° 7’ E), Yunnan.

Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: Plagiopholis blakewayi BOULENGER 1893: 301 has been considered as a synonym of P. nuchalis by previous authors.

The record of P. nuchalis reproted by Smith (1930) has been later changed to P. delacouri (Smith 1943: 326).

Distribution: It remains unclear whether P. nuchalis really occurs in Vietnam or India (see TILLACK et al. 2006 for a discussion).
