Comment	Synonymy: has been considered as a synonym of P. lemniscatus (e.g. Capocaccia 1961). Type species: Pseudoboodon gascae PERACCA 1897: 273 is the type species of the genus Pseudoboodon PERACCA 1897.
Etymology	Named after Captain A. Gasca, an Italian officer who collected reptiles in Erittea.
