DiagnosisDiagnosis: A Pseudoxyrhopus with 19 rows of dorsal scales at midbody; 8 supralabials; a slightly pointed snout that considerably overhangs tip of lower jaw; five dark longitudinal lines on body; a dark brown venter in adult.

EtymologyNamed after its type locality.
