DistributionSouth Pacific: Ternate, Halmahera, Morotai, Batjan, Batanta, Salawati, New Guinea, Manus, New Britain, Duke of York Island, Nissan Atoll, Solomon Islands (?), Bougainville, Shortland Group, Santa Isabel, New Republic of Georgia Group, Florida Group, Malaita, Guadalcanal, San Cristobal, Fiji Islands

Type locality: Duke of York Island, Bismarck Archipelago, Papua New Guinea.  
Reproductionoviparous 
TypesType: BMNH 1946.1.11.57 (and possibly additional specimens). 
CommentSynonymy: partly after WALLACH et al. 2014.

Distribution: Watling et al. (2010) note that the Taveuni population is not R. depressus but may be aluensis or something else.
