Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy partly after KOFRON 1990.

Habitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018). 
EtymologySingular masculine nominative from the Latin “dīmidiō”, meaning halved or divided in a half. Likely in reference to some attribute that is divided in this species but it cannot be inferred with certainty from the original description.
